Mariah Valentine

Mariah (MPH) is currently the Program Director for three nationwide studies (REALM, AMIS, and TWIST) focusing on mental health, sexual health and intersectional stigma experienced by sexual and gender minorities in the United States. She has a passion for health equity, harm reduction, and technological innovation in the recruitment and retention of research participants. She previously led Engage[men]t, Ele[men]t, COVIDVu, the Center at 246 PrEP Clinic, PrEP@Home and ePrEP studies. Mariah received her BA in History and Political Science from UC San Diego in 2013. She then moved across country from Los Angeles to Atlanta to complete her MPH in Behavioral Sciences and Health Education from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University in 2016. She worked as a Graduate Research Assistant with PRISM Health and Grady Infectious Disease Program starting in 2014, and joined PRISM Health as a full-time employee in 2016.
